"The university was founded in 1947 year in Wroclaw as a private higher trade school, and in 1950 year it was called the higher economic School in Wroclaw. Then from October 1974 year in Wroclaw O. Academy of Economics named after Lange.

  In total, 784 academic teachers, including 142 professors, work. There is a great interest in economic education, in the current academic year there are about 14000 students at the University and to this day more than 70 thousand graduates have been prepared."
